"CRA Ready for SMEs" Workshop Announced
DNSC organizes a free online workshop within the CYBERFORT project on June 10, helping SMEs across Europe prepare for the Cyber Resilience Act.
A practical session built for SMEs
On June 10, 2026, the Romanian National Cybersecurity Directorate (DNSC) will host the online workshop "CRA Ready for SMEs" within the CYBERFORT project. The three-hour session brings together national and European cybersecurity experts to help small and medium-sized enterprises move from regulatory confusion to concrete Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) readiness.
The Cyber Resilience Act is rapidly becoming a core business requirement for companies operating across Europe. Many SMEs, however, are still uncertain about how these new cybersecurity obligations affect their products, services, and position in the digital supply chain — and where to begin their preparedness journey. This workshop addresses that gap directly.
What participants will take away
Built around clear business language, concrete first steps, and practical resources, the workshop helps participants:
- Interpret CRA obligations in operational terms
- Identify the minimum cybersecurity measures companies should begin implementing
- Understand the practical relationship between CRA, NIS2, and GDPR
- Discover affordable, open-source tooling for SMEs
- See a live demonstration of how the CYBERFORT platform supports readiness scoring and roadmap generation
