
The CYBERFORT Consortium is pleased to announce the launch and implementation of the project “Strengthening Cyber Defenses of SMEs for Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Compliance.”
CYBERFORT is dedicated to strengthening the cybersecurity posture of European SMEs, supporting their compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). From compliance automation to risk assessment and cybersecurity training, the project focuses on delivering accessible, effective, and scalable cybersecurity solutions tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses across Europe.
The project officially began on 1 December 2024, bringing together eight consortium partner organizations with diverse expertise and a shared commitment to supporting Europe’s digital resilience.
Kick-Off Meeting Highlights
The Kick-Off Meeting was held in a hybrid format on 30–31 January 2025, with the in-person session hosted in Brașov, Romania.
During the meeting, partners:
✅ Aligned on core objectives to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions for SMEs
✅ Discussed use case scenarios in the maritime, energy, and finance sectors
✅ Outlined stakeholder engagement strategies and planned cybersecurity training programs
✅ Set clear milestones for the development of compliance tools, penetration testing frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
